Building acoustic solutions since 2015
ChilesNerv was founded in 2015 by acoustic engineers Michael Chen and Sarah Nerv, who recognized the growing need for quality sound solutions in home offices. What began as a small workshop in Toronto has grown into Canada's leading provider of custom acoustic panels.
Our journey started when Michael, a recording studio designer, and Sarah, an interior designer, combined their expertise to address the poor acoustics in their own home offices. After creating solutions that beautifully merged functionality with aesthetics, friends and colleagues began requesting similar treatments for their spaces.
This organic demand led to the formation of ChilesNerv, a name that combines the founders' surnames and represents our dual focus on technical acoustic excellence and visual design innovation.
